Denver Stapleton Airport Poster
Denver Stapleton Airport Poster
Poster size is 14" wide by 20" tall, including a one-inch white border, and is printed on heavyweight, acid-free poster stock.
Although long-gone, Denver’s Stapleton International Airport is still remembered fondly as one of the primary “jet crossroads” of the west in the early Jet Age. Chris Bidlack’s illustrated print depicts four airplanes from the airlines most identified with Stapleton at the time: A Continental 707, a Western 707, a Frontier Convair 580, and the iconic United 727. And of course, the famous Stapleton control tower (which still stands), is the central feature of the composition.
The print will arrive carefully packaged and ready for you to unroll and frame. (Framing instructions included.) Click on the image to see the full poster in detail. (And of course, the "JetAgeArt.com" watermark does not appear on the actual poster.)
