Forgotten by millions, but remembered to this day by many, the famous jet age Idlewild Airport was one of New York City’s great icons of the late 1950s. Chris Bidlack’s new IDL art print poster pays homage to the loved (and hated) International Arrivals Building and tower, designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, and opened in 1957. Also depicted is the famous Boeing 707, and the New York City skyline.
